WHO: The American Institute of Architects
Diversity Recognition Program
WHAT: The program seeks exemplary efforts to
diversify the architecture profession. The jury will select up to
12 submissions each year as diversity best practices meriting the
following recognition:
Profiles in AIArchitect and on the AIA Diversity Web
page
Inclusion in the AIA Best Practices library on Soloso and
aia.org
Acknowledgment at AIA National Convention events, including
the GLBT Reception, Minority Fellows Reception, and Women in
Architecture dinner
Commemoration in a Celebration of Diversity in Architecture

WHEN: The AIA must receive all submissions by
September 15, 2008
HOW: Electronic submissions are preferred and
should be sent todiversity@aia.org. Send hard-copy
submissions to Yvette Morris, Manager, Diversity, The American
Institute of Architects, 1735 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC
20006. All proposals also must include a signed waiver/release form.
